Server rules
The short version of the law of the land. The full rulebook ships with the server; these are the ones that keep the city standing.
Roleplay standards
Project Narnia is a roleplay server before it is anything else. Every interaction should make the story better for everyone in it.
- 1.1Stay in character
Once you are in the city, you are your character. Keep out-of-character chatter to Discord.
- 1.2Value life
Treat your life, and everyone else’s, as if it were real. Comply under clear threat; nobody robs a bank while outnumbered six to one.
- 1.3Quality over victory
Losing a scene well beats winning it cheaply. Play to the story, not the scoreboard.
Combat conduct
Violence is part of life in Project Narnia, but it always needs a roleplay reason and a fair build-up.
- 2.1No RDM
No random deathmatch. Killing another player requires prior roleplay engagement and proper initiation.
- 2.2No VDM
No vehicle deathmatch. Your car is transport, not a weapon. Running people down without roleplay is a ban, not a tactic.
- 2.3Initiate properly
Hostile action requires clear, audible initiation the other party can reasonably react to.
Death & the New Life Rule
Death matters in Project Narnia. When your character goes down for good, that chapter is closed.
- 3.1New Life Rule
When you die, that life’s memories, grudges, and conflicts die with you. Do not return to the scene of your death or re-engage the same conflict.
- 3.2No combat logging
Disconnecting to dodge death, arrest, or any roleplay outcome is a serious offence.
Fair play
The story only works if everyone is working from what their character actually knows.
- 4.1No metagaming
Information your character did not learn in-game (stream snipes, Discord whispers, a friend’s callout) stays out of the story.
- 4.2No powergaming
Do not force outcomes on other players or roleplay abilities you do not have. Give the other side room to respond.
- 4.3No exploits
Bug abuse, duping, and cheating of any kind are zero-tolerance. The persistent economy only works if it is honest.
Community standards
Out of character, we are one community. Keep it worth belonging to.
- 5.1Be excellent to each other
No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination. That goes for in-game, on Discord, and anywhere else in the community.
- 5.2Working microphone
Voice is the heart of Life roleplay. A working, comprehensible microphone is required.
- 5.3Staff decisions stand
Disputes go through reports on Discord, not arguments in the city. Staff rulings are final in the moment.
Rules evolve with the city. Questions about a ruling, or an edge case the Code doesn’t cover? Ask the staff team on Discord.
